Becoming a great musician centers on one's ability to master fundamental skills.  In the videos below, I will explain and demonstrate the types of warm-ups I would use in an instrument class.  I also make sure to use musictheory.net to help students identify notes quickly, which I mention but do not demonstrate in the videos.

Below is the track that was used in the lesson plan above.  The students would take turns playing for 8 measures, which was cued by a drum fill.  The track as it is below only includes the background music for the students' use.  I could easily include examples of solo improvisation in the track.
